School Lunches

Student of all socioeconomic backgrounds should have access to affordable, nutritious, and appetizing meals.

 

 Enriching our Meals 

 

  • Work with the new Food & Nutrition Services Director to bring strawberry milk back to middle and high school lunches.

  • Offer more types of meals to accommodate for different dietary restrictions (dairy/gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.)

  • Provide student surveys to the Board of Education about the quality of school lunches.

  • Expand breakfast options for all students.

 

 Lunch Rooms 

 

  • Create focus groups to research the amount of time it typically takes to receive lunch.

  • Advocate for lunchroom addition projects to increase the number of lines which serve food
